He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Blue" Salsbury and Marie Decker Salsbury of Patrick's Day; his brother Gene Salsbury; and his son Troy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Salsbury; his children, Gretchen McCarter (James), Patrick Salsbury II (Melissa), Keni Johnson and Lindsey Griffin (Grayling); and his grandchildren, Hunter, Preston, Piper McCarter, Hank, Chet Salsbury, Gregory Owens, Troy and Case Griffin.
