He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bowers and Mary Bowers (Lape); his sons, Steven Bowers, Sr. and Michael Bowers; and his siblings, Helen, Ora, Ida May, Marie, Virginia, Grace, Billy, Jack, George and Juanita.
He is survived by: his wife Doloris Bowers; his daughters, Susanne Oliva (Julian Jr.) and Linda Bowers; his grandchildren, Matthew Bowers (Christine), Steven Bowers, Jr. (Rhonda), Bryan Bowers (Ashley), Olivia Rose Oliva, Julian Oliva III and David Lucero (Briona); and his great grandchildren, Justice, Elena, Sofia, Alex, Gracie, Brinnley and Laiken.
Memorial contributions can be made in Paul's memory to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
