He was predeceased by: his father Charles Parkhurst. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Meyer VanHoutan; his son Cody E. Parkhurst; his stepfather Phil VanHoutan of Topeka; his brother Bobby Parkhurst of Topeka; and his nephews, Tyler and Riley Parkhurst. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
