We are sad to announce that, on March 3, 2026, at the age of 77, Penelope Ann Plamann (Topeka, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Walter Jr. and Evelyn Gladys Lawson (Thorpe); her husband Ed; her son Jeremy (Thompson); her stepdaughter Sunni (Plamann); her siblings, Joel Lawson (Linda) of Lee Summit, Aleilah Lawson of Port Angeles and Carolyn Jones (Danny) of Topeka; and her grandchildren, Ewan and Elliott Thompson of Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Helping Hands Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
