She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brooks and Gladie Brooks (Lewis); her siblings, Francis Chapin, Myrle Brooks and Robert Brooks; her son Kenneth Brooks; and her close friend Richard Laferty.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mervin Brooks of Smith Center, KS, Cecil Brooks (Joann) of Red Cloud, NE, Ruby Boswell of St. Joseph, MO, Linda Hogan of Colorado Springs, CO and Esther Terrill of Hays, KS.; her sons, Timothy Bolin of Junction City, KS and Curtis Bolin (Sandra) of Wamego, KS; and her granddaughters, Tina Roe of Seneca, KS and Roberta Ellis (Jerry) of Manhattan, KS.. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
