She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Faye Pierce Janes; her parents, Lester Pierce and Aileen Pierce; her former husband Richard Hawks; her stepchildren, Richelle Hawks (Steve Wagner) of Little Falls, NY and Melanie Faye Hawks of Salt Lake City, UT.; her grandson Tierney L. Cyren; her husband Arthur Palmer; her children, Audri May (Gene), Stacy Beckett (William) and John Palmer; John Layman Pierce and Lester Charles "Chuck" Pierce II.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elmdale Stoehr G. A. R. Cemetery (1067 Middle Creek Rd, Elmdale, KS 66850).
