He is survived by: his pets, Gunnar, Prince, Pepper and Beau; his wife Michele Carter of Year's Day; his children, Tanner Penry (Allison), Hunter Carter (Natalie Barnett) and Chloe Carter (Ty Henry); his grandson Carson Penry; his siblings, Bob Carter (Sue Ann), Dona Brown (Ron) and Candace Frenn; and his mother-in-law Marjorie McClurg.
