She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Newell and Marieda Newell (Brin); her siblings, Keith Newell, Sherlene Newell, Kelly Newell, Randy Newell, Sammy Newell and Blaine Newell; and her grandson Mason Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Mercer (Rachel) and Megan Mercer; her grandchildren, Ryan Blankenship (Josie), Douglas Mercer (Danae), Vanessa Anderson (Jacob) and Michael Seal; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Blankenship, Cade Blankenship, Haelynn Blankenship, Beckett Mercer, Easton Mercer, Braeson Anderson and Hayes Anderson; and her siblings, Bryan Newell (Sherry) and Cathey Mora (Tony).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Dove Cremations & Funerals – Southwest Chapel (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610).
