He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Devoe and Alberta Devoe (Davenport); his sister Mary Hall; and his brother-in-law Clifford Hall. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lukert-Devoe; his son Michael Devoe; his niece Jennifer Edwards (Billy); and his great-nieces, Kara and Deborah. He is also survived by cousins and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission or to the Johnson Cancer Research Center at KSTATE.
