He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar McClellan and Carrie McClellan (Hebbard); his son Steve Shepard; his brother Howard McClellan; and his great grandchild Sawyer Wagers.
He is survived by: his wife Judith McClellan; his children, Ruth Ann Dreyer (Roger), Jack McClellan (Mary), Rodger Shepard (Cynthia) and Rita Craig; his grandchildren, Josie Elliott (Jeffrey), Lindsey Wagers, Tyler McClellan (Rachel), David Robinson (Alix), Aaron Craig, Christopher Shepard, Jennifer Endsley (Aaron), Rachel Koger (Blake), Chelsie Shepard, Adam Shepard (Julie), Dustin Shepard and Kelsie Myers (Ryan); and his daughter-in-law Janet Shepard. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Northside Church of Christ (555 NW 46th St, Topeka, KS 66617).
