He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Donald Prue and Viola Rita Prue; and his siblings, Carolyn Gray, Donald Prue, David Prue and Michael Prue.
He is survived by: his son Richard Thomas Prue (Teresa); his wife Catherine Mary Hurla; his sister Kathy Hurla (Myron); his grandchildren, Richard, Michael (Anna) and Jennifer; and his great grandchildren, Edson, Maddelynn, Lennox, Elliot and Michael A. Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newberry or St. Matthew Catholic Church in Topeka, in care of the funeral home.
