He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Doc" Brown and Bessie Brown (Spillman); his wife Doris D. Hitchens; and his siblings, Mary Brown and John Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Davis (Jim) of Auburn, Vicki Slack (William) of Wamego, Shelly Vasey (Jim) of Wichita and Randy Brown (Sharon) of Holts Summit, MO; his grandchildren, Travis Catlin (Misty), Matthew Kastner (Bri), Krystin Gilpin (Alex), Drew Kastner (Roberta), Zac Vasey (Caroline), Courtney Strawderman (Jeff) and Dustin Brown; and his siblings, Don Brown, Kenny Brown, Roy Brown and Helen Worthington (Charles). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
