He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Harms and Alieda Harms; and his son Ari Harms. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bergmann-Harms; his daughters, Rebecca Harms (Clarke Beard) of Marion, IA, Emily Harms (Jerry Melchor) of New York City and Madeline Harms (David Graham) of Duluth, MN.; his sister Mary Ann Beattie of Wichita, KS.; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha Melchor, Ava Beard and Esther Harms-Graham.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to Temple Beth Sholom of Topeka, KS, HIAS, or the Michael J. Fox.
