He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Meier and Elizabeth Lambrecht Meier; his wife Charlotte Holland Meier; and his siblings, Casper, Marie Weigel, Joseph, Sylvester, Hubert, Augie, Lucile Krische, Pete, Leonard and Raymond. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (227 SW Van Buren St, Topeka, KS 66603). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
