He is survived by: his children, Brian Holmes (Janell) of Meriden, KS and Cheryl Holmes of Meriden; his grandchildren, Jace Holmes (Emily), Kamren Holmes and Dalton Holmes; his siblings, Eugene Harley Holmes, Jr. (Ronita) of Overland Park, KS, Dwight Holmes of Topeka and Jerry Cox of Independence, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Holmes of Topeka and Donald Eland of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
