He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L Stous and Lois H Stous (Horner); and his siblings, Clarence Stous, Jr. and Thelma "Tizzy" Christey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stous; his sons, David Stous (Wendy) of St. Albans, VT, Kevin Stous (Penny) of Topeka and Kris Stous (Angela) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Daniel Stous (Jazmin) of Topeka, Rachel Stous of Topeka, Samuel Stous of Topeka, Lauren Stous of Topeka, Morgan Stous of Topeka, Joshua Labonte and Shane Vincelette; his niece Sue Christey of Topeka; and his brother Bill Mercer of Ennis, MT..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
