Rose Schmidt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Schmidt (Topeka, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph G. Meier and Rose Lambrecht Meier; her brother Tom Meier; her husband Leander "Lee" Schmidt; and her brothers, Tony and George.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Schmidt (Pam), Joe Schmidt (Sue), Linda Pfeifer and Monica Schmidt; and her siblings, Sil Meier, Phylis Wiedman and Margaret Meier. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
