With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Boyd in Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Curtis Churchwell and Daisy Churchwell (Caughman); her husband Ashley Wayne; her daughter Velvet Eargle; her granddaughter Ashleigh Boyd; her stepfather Harry Marcy; her siblings, Curtis Churchwell, Jr. and Linnie Ritter; her children, Cindy Martin of Elgin, Richard Boyd of Silver Lake and Cherokee Boyd of Estes Park, Colorado; and her siblings, June Roberta Williams of Blackville, Melissa Collins of Blackville, Jean Bryant of Springfield, Frank Churchwell of Blackville, Tim Churchwell of Blackville and Johnny Churchwell of Lexington. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
