She was predeceased by: her husband Austin Haya, Sr.; her parents, Komao Takamiya and Chiyo Takamiya; and her siblings, Chieko Noguchi, Reiko Shimano and Hiroshi Takamiya.
She is survived by: her children, Jayne Lewis (Keith) of Tecumseh, Steve Haya (Shelly) of Maple Hill, Sharon Escobar (Daniel) of Topeka and Austin T. Haya, Jr. of Topeka. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
