She was predeceased by: her father Warren Dean Bernhardt, Sr.; her husband Steven D. Rison; and her son Brandon D. Rison. She is survived by: her mother Nelda Bernhardt Rolfe (Wells); her daughter-in-law Martie Rison; her grandson Gavin P. Breedlove; her brother Dean Bernhardt (Dawn); her siblings-in-law, Kathy Munsterman (Mark), Roger Rison (Liz) and Jerry Rison (Pam); her niece Mandy Johnson (Chris); and her nephews, Mike Rison (Kelley), Doug Rison (Kerry), Paul Rison (Mindy), Bryan Rison (Kristy) and Daniel D. Bernhardt.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mission Township Firefighters Association and the Kansas Music Hall of Fame, sent in care of the Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia Street, Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
