With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra L. Sanders (Topeka, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward H. Schmitt and Sylvia A. Schmitt (Moss). She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Sanders Kellogg of Lenexa and Brenda (David Recob) of Topeka, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Jack, Lydia Kellogg, Benjamin, Nate and Trey Recob.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Southwest Chapel (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610).
