Scott Franklin Taylor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2025, at the age of 81, Scott Franklin Taylor of Topeka, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Gross-Weyers and Charlie Jackson; his wife Bobbie Taylor; his daughter Sharri Long; and his siblings, Mary Hester and John Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Blackwell (Cleo) and Barbara Taylor; his stepdaughters, Rachel Kurtz and Sarah Vanderpool; and his siblings, Darlene Crooks, Ruthann Laribee, Jay Smart, Bob DeBusk, Mark DeBusk, Larry Debusk and Keith DeBusk. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made in Scott's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
