He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thomas Phelps; his children, Kiana Phelps Richardson (Darwon), Spencer Phelps II, Marissa Phelps, Ra'Shawn Trotter and Robert Trotter III; his grandchildren, Ke'Andre Phelps, Ke'Vaughn Phelps, Tray Porter, Tinay Porter, Nhymir Wilson and Ma'Khy Phelps; and his siblings, Belinda Phelps Booker, Timothy Phelps, William Phelps, Christal Phelps Casteel, Steven Phelps, Gail Stevenson, Robert Stevenson and Tara Williams. He is also survived by friends, cousins.
