Bechtold and Marion Gafford Bechtold; his brother Alan; his father-in-law Gordon Lindeblad; his niece Heather Bechtold; his nephews, Craig Wilkerson and Kyle Brinker; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Fitzpatrick, Thomas Fitzpatrick, Daniel Fritz, Norman Koester and Melba Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Fitzpatrick; his sons, Matthew of Topeka and Eric (Jessica) of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Donna Fitzpatrick (Topeka); his nieces and nephews, Jesse Travis Bechtold, Dr. Pamela Fitzpatrick-Harris, Theresa Fitzpatrick, Todd Fitzpatrick, Brenda Johnson (CJ), Jennifer Baalman (Tim), Carey Needham (Tyson), Michelle Nelson (Darren), Tim Fitzpatrick (Melissa), Kelli Swift (Brooks), Greg Fritz, Sarah Miller (Brian), Micheal Wilkerson (Kathryn) and Becky Brinker; Ed Fitzpatrick (Topeka), Angela Fitzpatrick (Kansas City), Marjorie (Dennis), Levell (Overland Park), John (Linda) and Ellen Fritz Koester (Topeka).
