He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Ruth; and his brother Lance Nelson. He is survived by: his brother David Nelson (Sybil) of Topeka; his children, Julia Beth (Robin) of Weeki Wachee and Jeremiah (Amy); and his granddaughter Evelyn of Princeton. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
