As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Steven Casper may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey Desch and Nadean Desch (Coker). He is survived by: his son Steven Desch; and his siblings, Barbara Doud, Susan Bartley, Michelle Schmidt and Michael Desch of Topeka.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Meriden Cemetery Chapel (101 W Wyandotte St, Meriden, KS 66512). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meriden VFW Post 10815 (612 E Palmer St, Meriden, KS 66512).
