With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tamela Shawn McManes of Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Mooney and Marvin Mooney; her husband Robert D. McManes; her grandsons, Arden King and Liam Best; her siblings, Michael Mooney and Shelia Schadt; and her stepfather W. E. Parker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Candi Best (Brian) of Kansas City, MO and Kelly Briones (Gabriel) of Topeka, KS; her grandsons, Andrew Briones, Jack, Teddy and Johnny Best; and her siblings, Jim Milam of Davenport, IA and Mickey Mooney of McCleary, WA. She is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
