With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vernon Chance in Topeka, Kansas, born in Phillipsburg, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vernon left this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvie Chance and Esther Chance (Frazier); and his brother Ronald Chance. He is survived by: his wife Karen Chance; his daughters, Coleen Watson (David) and Robin Stumbaugh; his grandchildren, Dalton Moritz, Kaleb Chance, Jalen Chance, Alexis Watson, Matthew Watson, Noah Hart, Brandon Hart and Logan Stumbaugh; and his great grandchildren, Jonah Hart, Dalton Moritz Jr. and Dillon Moritz.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parker-Price & Davidson Reception Center (1940 NW Central Ave, Topeka, KS 66608).
