Victoria R. Sturgeon Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Victoria R. Sturgeon of Topeka, Kansas. Victoria, born on September 22, 1947, passed away on September 8, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Victoria R. Sturgeon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Funk and Lilly Funk (Boxberger); her husband Jimmy Sturgeon; and her brother Clark. She is survived by: her children, Jerra R. Sturgeon of Topeka and Matthew C. Sturgeon (Sherri) of Meriden, Kansas; her sister Connie Dirreen (Bill) of Hoisington, Kansas; her grandchildren, Haley Hart (Robby), Tyler Hart (Kourtney), Blake Bowden (Amber), Lindsey Box (Jacob), Brinnly Sturgeon (Devan), Zayne Sturgeon (Jay) and Robert Folger; and her great grandchildren, Jaxyn, Paxtyn, Layna, Mason and Colton.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (4211 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66617). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church Northwest Topeka (4211 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66617).
Memorial contributions be designated to Stormont Vail Cancer Center.
