He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Schell and Petronilla Schell (Hertlein); and his brothers, Tom and Larry Schell. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Bennett; his sons, Todd (Bev), Trent (Katie) of Parkville, MO and Travis (Daren) of Topeka; his wife Brenda Laster; his son Scott Topeka (Jill); his grandchildren, Hannah of Prairie Village, KS and Tucker (Chiaki) of Overland Park, KS; his great grandchild Ren; his daughter Zoe of Topeka, KS.; his grandchildren, Cole Vincent and Maisie; and his brother Gerald "Jerry" Schell (Ramona).
