She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Syvilla Grier (Ballew) and George McKinley Grier; her husband Elmer Green; her siblings, Georgina Grier, Robert Grier, Donald Grier, Charles Grier, Lena Carper, Norman Grier, Glenn Grier and David Grier; and her daughter Lori Ann Williams (Green).
She is survived by: her niece Kathy Sawyer; her daughter Teresa Sowell Topeka (Lei Cornell Sowell); her sisters, Loretta Mattox (Charles) and Kathy Sawyer Topeka (James); and her grandchildren, Michael Topeka (Michelle), Joseph Williams Topeka (Kim Giner), Marc Granville, Ashley Granville, Lawrence, Ava Marriah Sowell (Rodney) of Kansas City, MO, Alazae Sowell, Terrence Sowell and Shayna Sowell. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
