She was predeceased by: her parents, Larren Ernest and Catherine Andrea Siler (Johnston); her husband Herbert Thompson; and her sisters, Bonnie Paige, Pat Siler, Gerry Shouse and Joan Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie A. Turner (Joe) and Robert L. Amyx (Becky). She is also survived by four stepchildren and six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
