He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Janke and Julia Janke (Fredholm); his sister Janice Whaley; and his son David Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Melva Janke; his children, Heather Appenfeller (Doug) and Tim Janke (Melissia); his brother Philip Janke; his grandchildren, Makenna Harris (Caleb), Dawson Brown (Kylie), Alayna Young (Adam), Gwen Appenfeller and Kerigan Janke; and his great grandchild Maggie Brown.
