She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Diederich and Edith Leona Diederich (Mercier); her boyfriend James Robert Wurtz; her daughters, Amy and Jeanine; her granddaughter Ashleigh; and her siblings, Don, Diane and Willis.
She is survived by: her children, John Wurtz (Theresa), David Wurtz, Janet Stewart, Paul Wurtz (Deb) and Lisa Aragon; and her son-in-law Sonny Holbrook.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home (2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church (3601 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
