He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Phillip and Mary Belle Walker (Grandstaff); and his siblings, Barbara Jean Donaldson, Robert Winfield Walker, Terry Louise Walker (Murray Phillip Walker II) and Jackie Walker (Jeff Busch).

He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Jane Fiant; his children, Janell Robinson-Akerberg (Conrad) of Toronto, Jalean Walker of Eureka and Mike Watson of California; and his siblings, Judy Ann Kightlinger of El Dorado, Melissa Markel of Tucson, AZ, Lori Crammond of Arkansas, Richard Busch of Pennsylvania and Teresa Jeffers of Michigan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the National Ataxia Foundation.
