He was predeceased by: his parents, N. H. Howell and Mary Howell (Robson); his son Shawn; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Carole Shirley (Cogan); his daughters, Angela Howell, Anastacia Wall and Lori Shirley; his grandchildren, Evan, Connor Howell, Sarah Wall, Ben Wall, Kayla, Jacob (Jillian), Derek (Regina) and Olivia Wallace; his great grandchildren, Dylan (Kayla), Hunter, Fisher, Harlee, Dorian, Hadlee, Jayden, Emma, Ky'zia, Justin, Christian and Alona; his siblings, Bob (Mary) and Cathy (John); Jahna Espinosa (Paul). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Towanda Community Church and local Boy Scouts, Troop 1232.
