With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia C. Franken of Troy, Kansas, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on May 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, R. F. Cobb and Beulah Cobb (Steeby); her former life partner William Jr. Thompson; her husband William "Bill" Franken; her brother R. F. Cobb Jr.; and her grandson Scott King.

She is survived by : her children, Ronnie Thompson and Sue Simmons; and her grandson Chad King.
