He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Louise Gardner; his parents, John Winder and Leora Winder Trant (Holcomb); his stepfather Chester Trant; his brothers, Robert and James; his parents-in-law, Coid Franklin Gardner and Majorie Louise Gardner Williams; his stepfather-in-law Nathan Williams; his brother-in-law Carl Gardner; Ken Winder.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary (Carol), Lester (Mary), Don Winder and Diane Faunce (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Chloe Winder, Virginia Winder and Dr. Michael Gardner (Ann). He is also survived by father figure to numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Life Church (1860 US-36, Wathena, KS 66090). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
