Jim Flummerfelt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Flummerfelt (Turon, Kansas), who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jim is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jim's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Edward and Margaret Irene Flummerfelt (Kistner); and his brother-in-law Marvin Cochran. He is survived by: his close friend Sue Jones of Pratt; his daughters, Jill Flummerfelt of Fort Knox and Joni Hill (Shaun) of Ft. Worth, Texas; the mother of his children Judy Gerstner of Lenexa; his sister Mary Cochran of Prineville, Oregon; and his grandchildren, Camden Hill of Ft. Worth and Christian Hill of Ft. Worth.
