He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Wilkens and Caral Wilkens (Craft). He is survived by: his close friend Marsha Girard; his children, Tiffany Reeves (Shaun) of Wichita, KS, Mandy Monroy (Travis) of Independence, KS, Ashley Gilliland (James) of Wann, OK, Sara Tennison (Justin) of Dewey, OK and Caleb Wilkens of Kingsland, GA; his grandchildren, Shae Warren (Austin), Hunter Reeves, Makenzee, Cameron Monroy, Taylor, Alena, Kourtney, Colton Gilliland, Jaxon and Jarrett Tennison; and his siblings, Dena Wilson (Terrance) of Checotah, OK, Dion Wilkens (Debbie) of Independence, KS and Sue Johnston (John) of Canyon Lake, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Racers for Christ and the Reach One Teach One Foundation for the Dale "Lurch" Wilkens Scholarship for a student going into an Auto Technician program. Dale was a huge supporter of The Reach One Teach One Foundation, a nonprofit focused on at-risk youth, owned by Dale's daughter, Mandy.
