He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Egan and Julia Egan; and his siblings, Jerome "Chunky" Egan, James "Jimmy" Egan, Charlie Egan, Joyce Carinder, Patricia Holeman and Helen Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Egan; his children, David Egan (Brandee) of Caney and Julie McDermed (Justin) of Brownwood, Texas; his grandchildren, Rowan McDermed, Brynlee McDermed, Dayton Egan and Beckett Egan; and his sisters, Margaret Peterson and Carol Johnston (Danny Johnston). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Caney Fire Department; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
