He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley King; his children, Mindy Browning (Robert), Dub Newton (Nita) and Melissa Robertson (Justin Templeton); his siblings, Thomas Newton and Stella Ferrell (Kirby); his grandchildren, Niki, Josh McClain, Michael, Emily Browning, Nick, Merra Brown, Zack, Sara Brown, Keith, Amber Coy, Damon, Allison Coy, Jordan, Easton Julian and Grant Newton; his parents, William Thomas and Stella Thomas; and his sister-in-law Peach Newton. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
