He was predeceased by : his parents, Tempie Lamberson (Overton) and Wilber Lamberson; and his brothers, James, Gene, Earl, Arcine, Glynn, Rod and David Lamberson.

He is survived by : his wife Sharlett Betterton; his daughters, Tess Peden (Kurtis) of Ulysses and Brandi Salinas (Francisco) of Ulysses; his siblings, Kenneth Lamberson of North Carolina, Garry Lamberson of Washington, Wayne Lamberson of Ulysses and Ginger Kilburn of Missouri; his grandchildren, Tyler Peden (Alexis), Tanner Peden, Braysen Salinas and Jaxsen Salinas; and his great grandchildren, Finn and Miles Peden.
