“Delbert was one of a kind with his jokes and theatrics. Most of the guys will always remember the hut calls we use to get from Delbert. He was a friend to all and will be truly missed. He fought hard to fix his back issues, he is pain free now. God bless and we will miss you my friend!”

Stephen Grace wrote a sympathy message

“I hired Delbert away from Rush Truck Centers back in March of 2000. Was very instrumental in the development of our Dallas territory which ended up being our largest volume and geographical company territory. He had a real personal way with customers, close relationships where they would do anything for Delbert. A gift of gab, a true old school salesman who liked the personal touch with all of his customers. Christmas brisket drops off for customers were routine! Will continue this on next entry”

“I worked with Delbert for more than 15 years. We stayed in touch even after we both retired, usually during Chiefs games. Delbert was a fun loving gentleman who cared very much for his family, friends and customers. He will be greatly missed. I know his memory will come to mind often and especially when the Chiefs play. I pray for peace and comfort to his family and friends.”

“Delbert and I were both involved in the same industry when we met year's ago. Delbert was respected in the industry and he was always a gentlemen. Delbert was always quick to help with his knowledge and I believe the love of family was his driving force. God Bless the McDaniel family. May God bring comfort to you. Stephen Dreier”
