She was predeceased by : her parents, Warren E. "Bill" Cody and Viola Cody (Osburn); her spouse J. N. Hoefgen; and her siblings, Wyvonna Galliart and Everett Cody.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Hoefgen (Georgia) of Park City, Teresa Venable (Tim) of Elgin and Tammy Schmedemann (Randy) of Aloha, Oregon; her brother Charles Cody of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Paula, Melissa, Jerry Jr., Jason, Derek, Tosha, Seth and Matt. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
