He is survived by: his wife Connie (Berger); his daughter Miranda Ashbaugh (Jackie Schmidt) of Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Kaleigh Ashbaugh, Kaden Ashbaugh and Keiarra Gonzales; his brothers, Irvin Schmidt of Wichita, KS, Leon Schmidt (Roseann) of Wichita, KS and Gary Schmidt (Karen) of Hot Springs, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Schmidt of Wichita, KS, Judy Weigel (Bob) of Lawrence, KS, Joseph Berger Jr. (Colette Nina) and Dennis Berger of Hays, KS..
