It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Weigel of Victoria, Kansas, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Shirley has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph C. Weigel and Catherine Weigel (Paul).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Fidelis (900 Cathedral Ave, Victoria, KS 67671). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Cline's-Keithley Mortuary (412 Main St, Victoria, KS 67671). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Fidelis (900 Cathedral Ave, Victoria, KS 67671).
