She was predeceased by : her parents, Simon Goetz and Ida Goetz (Ubert); her sisters, Alma Meyers, Norma Huffman (Richard) and Berniece Bushman (Dennis); and her sister-in-law Diane Werner.

She is survived by : her husband Ivan Werner; her children, Rhonda Fionda (David) of Chattanooga, TN, Patti Woschitz (Dan) of Bethlehem, GA and Mike Werner (Katie) of Leawood, KS; her siblings, Ronald Goetz of Hays, KS, Frank Goetz, Cam Mahaffey of Denver, CO and Sharon Merrick (Frank) of Oviedo, FL; her brother-in-law Bill Meyers of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Beth Darguin (Andre), Allie Hudson (Blake), Nick Fionda (Rachel), Luke Woschitz and Jill Woschitz; her great grandchild Leslie Spearman; and her grandchildren, Lane Hudson, Maya Darguin and Miles Darguin. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
