He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene Vancuren and Helen Lucile Vancuren (Stout); his stepfather Bob Ryan; and his half-brother Bobbie Earl Ryan II. He is survived by: his wife Diana Vancuren; his sons, Chris Vancuren (Julie) of Conway Springs, Kansas and Chad Vancuren (Nikki) of Wichita, Kansas; his sisters, Janis Riley (Jim) of Wichita, Kansas and Dee Pauly (Rick) of Udall, Kansas; his grandsons, Clinton Vancuren (Trista), Brent Vancuren and Brian Vancuren (Jessica); his sister Britton Vancuren; and his great grandchildren, Cal Vancuren, Jace and Jaelynn Jeffery. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Viola United Presbyterian Church (304 S Grice St, Viola, KS 67149). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Conway Springs Methodist Church (411 S 8th St, Conway Springs, KS 67031).
