She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Nickeson and Ruth Nickeson; her husband Delmar Tjaden; her brother Keith Nickeson; her sister-in-law Anita Nickeson; her nephew Grant Searcey; her siblings-in-law, Vern Tjaden, Leona Tjaden and William Ewald; her daughters, Rebecca Tjaden and Debra Harris (Tjaden); and her great grandchildren, Everett Tjaden and Kolter Tjaden.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Tjaden (Teri) of Marysville, Patricia Chandler (Matthew) of Bonner Springs and Ryan Tjaden (Jamie) of Marysville; her sister Maria Anderson (Karl); and her sister-in-law Nelda Ewald. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Meadowlark Hospice Care and Immanuel Stateline Lutheran Church.
